Itinerary

Pindaya – Htut Ni – See Kya Inn – Taung Paw Gyi – Pindaya

In the morning, you will be transfer to the starting point by boat and Three-wheel Motor Bike. Trekking up hill to the TaungYoe Village of KoneSonevillage Will take about (5) hours walk. You will pass cheroot leaves plantations on the way. There are also wild orchid growing in the trees. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the whole area and life of the local ethnic minorities. Traditional simple lunch will be provided at the village house. After lunch, continue hiking to KoneSone village, which is located at the highest elevation of Inle Lake region. Simple home cook dinner will be provided and over night stay at the local family house.

5 days 4 nights Pindaya trekking tour

Day 1 Heho – Pdy

Upon arrival at Heho airport you will be welcomed by the local English speaking guide. Drive to Pindaya (2 ½ hours, 60 km) and visit the cave temple called Shwe U Min Pagoda, housing over 8000 Buddha statues dating back to 18 to 20 century. One the way you will have chance to visit the villages on the road side and enjoy the landscape with colorful vegetables fields. Stroll around the town and can take a look at the traditional Shan paper and umbrella work shops. Over night stay at one of the hotel in Pindaya.

Day 2 Pindaya trekking

After breakfast hiking to Htut Ni village (1 ½ hrs.). You will see the life style of Danu People (one of the ethnic minority of Myanmar) living on growing tea leaf as their main business and other crops. Proceed to See Kya Inn village (meaning the village of misty lake) located in the forested mountain (1 hour) passing through tea leaf plantations. Traditional home cook lunch will be served at one of the local family house. After lunch continue walking back to Pindaya through the Shaw Pin and Taung Paw Gyi villages (2 ½ hrs.).

Day 3 Pdy – Inle

After beakfast drive to inle (3 hrs, 90km) explore around the lake for the famous leg rower, traditional fishing method, floating garden and ways of life of people living on the lake.

Day 4 Inle

After breakfast visit to one of the local five days market (on market day only). Visit the weaving village of Inn Paw Khone and PhaungDawOo pagoda with five Buddha statues (one of the holiest shrines in Myanmar). Take an evening walk in the farming village of A Lei Myaung and Tha Lai Oo village where you can visit to a rice mill (assembled and operated in simple way). Experience the life of the farmers, visit the molasses making place where the people make the molasses from sugar cane juice.

Day 5 Inle – Heho- ?

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the airport for the domestic flight to ——-
